Call for Papers:

Baku Slavic University is holding  a II International Conference "Problems of modern linguistics (language contacts)"
on November 22-th to 23-th, 2007.

We invite papers, covering any   topic realated to the conference title. Suggested  range of subject areas are, but are no limited to:

╖         General issues of the linguistic contact theory;

╖         Bilinguism and translations issues;

╖         Linguistic borrowings issues;

╖         Cross-cultural communication and linguistic contacts;

╖         Modern  methods of foreign language study  

Working languages:  Azerbaijani, Russian and English.

Paper requirements:

Microsoft  Word, up to 5 pages (A-4), Times New Roman 12

Organizational board preserves the right to choose the papers.

Please ensure that your name and affiliation, email and postal addresses and home or office phone, as well as a title, paper and abstract are included in your proposal.We intend to publish proceedings of the conference.
